Central Firefighters Raise $2,859.00 for Fellow First Responders

The 2018 National First Responder Fund Stair Climb  took place on September 8th, 2018 in Downtown San Francisco. Central Fire assembled a team to climb the 1,200 stairs that run from the bottom to the top of the Bank of America Building. “ Team Central Fire Santa Cruz” was able to raise $2,859.00 in an effort to support fellow first responders needing services for PTSD, chemical dependency, toxic exposure, and cancer awareness. Thank you to all our community members that helped us reach our fundraising goal and offered their words of support!
